Young people can be empowered to design their own experiments when using the Labdisc. They can use the GPS facility to logo data in the field and then upload to a variety of platforms including Chromebooks."
The Labdisc series of data loggers includes devices for Environment. Physics Biology and Chemistry and a General Science device. The data loggers can be used in all stages of the education system. "It was a great surprise to find out we had been nominated in the awards but an even bigger surprise to be judged a winner of the category for Tech & Learning. The Labdisc really brings science to life and young people can see the data being logged in real time if they have a computer connected to a Labdisc."
